As part of our effort to update our state party platform, and focus on
Colorado issues, we need a task force on social issues. I know there are many
people interested in the issue of revoking corporate "personhood," for example; I
think we should also be taking a position on urban renewal authorities'
condemnation of private property for private purposes; etc. Can people interested in
this issue please respond directly to me, and I'll link you up with one
another? If you're interested in chairing this committee, as well, please let me
know.

The objective is to come up with a position paper, including ideas for
implementing change in Colorado, in order to submit to the membership at our state
meeting in April 2004.

Thanks,

Sunny Maynard
