Please forward widely:
The Green Party of the United States needs native speakers of
languages spoken in the United States, such as Spanish or other
languages, to translate web pages and other documents. Our diversity
is our strength--but if we can't even talk to each other, we won't
have much diversity. Please help. The Communications Committee is
preparing a database of volunteers willing to help with translations
of Green Party documents from English into other languages spoken in
the United States.
Translators should be:
willing to translate short documents from 100 to 1000 words long
native speakers of (or those extremely fluent in) a language other
than English fluent in English
We have received requests specifically for the following languages:
Czech, Hmong, Arabic, French, and Spanish. Our Spanish-language
volunteer pool is currently the largest group, and we will have this
language webpage on line first, probably.
other skills useful to the translation effort include web and
editorial skills
Translations would be requested at the frequency a translator is
willing or able to help with; no more. Any and all languages are
welcomed!
