>From DU Professor Alan Gilbert,

Dear all,

With very understandable enthusiasm for the rally against the unfair and ill-
egitimate election on Saturday at noon on the Capitol steps, a Green party
member suggested that the party had decided to sponsor the rally. It
hasn't had a chance to meet. The rally was called by a meeting of concerned
citizens against election fraud -- one of a series of four meetings which had
over a hundred people Monday night, and many others Sunday, Wednesday
and Saturday. Our meetings included members from the several groups men-
tioned in the previous email , but none of these groups has had a chance to
discuss the rally. We need to act now, quickly, while we can still make a diff-
erence in how people regard the November 2nd election. We intend to make
the demonstration Saturday a big one. Please join us Monday night to plan
the demonstration at the Mercury Cafe (22nd & California) at 7 pm. And bring
everyone you know to the rally on Saturday.

Best wishes,
Alan Gilbert
