Because we have SO MUCH going on - yay for the Green Party - we are calling
for a combined meeting to organize.
We have our fundraiser/community event Aug 16th at the Mercury. One aspect
will be speakers on Iran. These speakers will fill the Mercury: David
Barsamian, Imam Ibrahim Kazerooni and Bob Kinsey. We need help planning the
rest of this event.
Cynthia McKinney will be here for the DNC. She will be speaking at The
Mercury Cafe on Monday August 25th. Marilyn is going to be having the full
restaurant open for the night!! After this event there is going to be a
women focused concert possible performers Ani DiFranco, Pink and I am not
sure who else
We have 4 people running for office in the Denver Metro area - they all need
help on their campaigns
There is the possibility of going to Wyoming and helping with ballot access
petitions
There is a great presidential campaign we can all help with
So in other words THERE IS MUCH GREEN WORK TO BE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Come see how YOU can plug in
This meeting is for ALL GREENS - it doesn't matter what county you live in.
Or if you're not yet a Green but are interested in finding out what we are
all about or want to help
